Shiney, Esha Grace ‘Hijack’ Premiere

The premiere of Kunal Shivdasani’s ‘Hijack’ was held at Cinemax in Andheri, Mumbai. The film’s cast and crew including Shiney Ahuja, Esha Deol and Kaveri Jha were present to watch the show.

The film made under the banner of Eros International in association with Aliya Motion Magic, deals with mid air drama. On the occasion, Shiney said, “Despite being an action packed drama, ‘Hijack’ is a family film.”

Shiney, Esha at ‘Hijack’ Music Launch

The music of Kunal Shivdasani’s forthcoming venture ‘Hijack’ was held at BJN Banquets in Mumbai. The film’s cast and crew including Shiney Ahuja, Esha Deol and Kaveri Jha were amongst those present at the do.

The film based on a group of six terrorists, who takes control of an airplane to secure the release of their accomplice, who had been captured by the Indian police, threatens to kill the hostages if their demands are not met. The airport’s maintenance officer whose daughter is aboard the ill-fated plane sneaks into the aircraft with the help of an airhostess to save the passengers.

The film is slated to be released on August 29.

Shiney: “I have some mind-blowing action sequences in ‘Hijack’'

Actor Shiney Ahuja along with his director Kunal Shivdasani met the media to discuss their forthcoming venture ‘Hijack’ at Kino’s Cottage in Mumbai.

The gist of Hijack is as follows. A plane flying from Amritsar to Delhi is hijacked by six terrorists who demand the release of their accomplice. They threaten to kill the hostages otherwise.

Shiney plays an airport maintenance officer. “I am playing the role of a father who takes the difficult task of rescuing his daughter from the clutches of terrorists.”

The actor is all set to take the audience by storm. “I have some mind-blowing action sequences in the film”.

The film also has Esha Deol as an air-hostess. K. K. Raina plays the main antagonist and Kaveri Jha enacts the role of Shiney’s wife.

Hijack Synopsis :

Vikram Madan (Shiney Ahuja) is a ground maintenance officer at the Chandigarh airport. Rajeev, the security chief of the airport, is his one and only friend.

As luck would have it, the flight in which Vikram’s daughter is traveling to Amritsar from Delhi, is hijacked. A group of six terrorists takes control of the airplane to secure release of Maqsood (KK Raina) who had been captured by the Indian police. They threaten to kill the hostages otherwise. The flight is forced to land at Chandigarh airport. Vikram sneaks into the aircraft with the help of Saira (Esha Deol), an airhostess. What follows is one man’s fight against international terrorists.
